Current, not trendy
Use contemporary editorial expression without borrowing the visual language of a passing technology cycle.
Visual direction
Varegis combines people who have built before with people inventing what comes next. The identity should feel culturally current, commercially credible, and impossible to ignore.
Brand posture
Varegis is not a consultancy preserving old ways of working. It is a venture-building force whose pattern recognition makes ambitious experimentation more informed—and more likely to produce value.
Use contemporary editorial expression without borrowing the visual language of a passing technology cycle.
Experience gives Varegis the confidence to take bigger risks. Never make age itself the story.
One dominant idea per viewport. Strong contrast and scale create energy; decoration does not.
The signature
The Varegis wordmark remains unchanged. The dot over the “i” becomes persimmon and serves as the visual seed for the broader identity.
Clear space Maintain space equal to the height of the “i” on every side.
Minimum width 120px digital · 32mm print.
Do not stretch, outline, add effects, recolor individual letters, or detach the dot inside the wordmark.
Color
Carbon and Bone should dominate. Aubergine anchors major fields, Orchid introduces expressive tension, and Persimmon marks the point where attention or action belongs.

Supporting neutralTypography
Typography carries most of the visual authority. Headlines should be oversized, closely set, and direct. Supporting language stays calm and readable.

Signature device
The dot connects every expression back to the logo. It represents an insight becoming specific: the problem to solve, the bet to make, or the next action to take.
Use one dominant dot per viewport and smaller dots to mark sections, evidence, or actions.
Let dots crop beyond a frame or interrupt a clean grid when a focal moment needs energy.
Turn the dot into confetti, a background pattern, a bullet on every line, or an arbitrary decoration.
Photography
Visuals are punctuation, not wallpaper. Use generous open space, then place a photograph or piece of brand artwork where it redirects the eye into the message. People across generations appear as peers.

Make the visual point.
Then leave room for the idea.
Mixed generations and disciplines, visible hands, prototypes, real environments, partial gestures, and moments of concentration.
Boardroom posing, artificial celebration, mentor–student clichés, homogeneous age groups, or generic technology imagery.
Most long pages need only two or three strong visuals. Alternate people, product detail, and abstract artwork—never fill every section.
Composition + motion
Use one oversized statement to define each major section.
Prefer sharp fields, rules, cropping, and asymmetry over rounded cards.
Use word changes, horizontal work reels, and dot transitions to reveal meaning.
Motion should complete in 200–450ms, respect reduced-motion settings, and never float without purpose.
